Javier Sanz, Director of the Cardiac CT-MRI, Instituto Cardiovascular ,.
We also have the excellent participation of the cardiologist Dr. Fernando Wyss, from Guatemala, President of the Inter-American Society of Cardiology – SIAC.
The scientific program has been endorsed by the Central American and Caribbean Society of Arterial Hypertension and Cardiovascular Prevention – SCCH
The course has been designed to interactively review through brief presentations, discussion and clinical cases, cardiovascular prevention factors, heart failure from classic treatment to new treatments, imaging techniques in cardiovascular disease and factors antithrombotics and anticoagulants, in turn contributing the latest studies and Mount Sinai’s experience in anticoagulation, reviewing the cardiovascular impact of COVID-19 and its CV involvement.
We will review how significantly socioeconomic factors, the impact of atherosclerosis and cardiovascular diseases in the near future, as well as the main pharmacological advances in lipid management for the prevention and treatment of cardiovascular events as well as the management and control of HTA.
